Shanna Fricklas recently came to Niskanen Center after serving as the Executive Director for the House Problem Solvers Caucus, where she supported 50 Members of Congress in finding bipartisan solutions to some of the nation’s biggest problems. Prior to her work there, she supported Representative Matt Cartwright on Natural Resources issues and Representative Hakeem Jeffries on Judiciary. Fricklas has also spent time coalition-building and developing policy through various nonprofits focused around finding economic solutions to climate and clean energy issues, as well as the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation to provide insights to the business community on resource consumption and fiscal responsibility. Fricklas has additionally contributed to high profile cases surrounding natural gas storage and climate risk disclosures.
Fricklas earned her B.A. in political science from Bryn Mawr College and her J.D. from Lewis and Clark Law School, graduating with a certification in Environment and Natural Resources Law.
