Louisa is a seasoned communications and media relations strategist with a specialized expertise in public policy. At the Niskanen Center, she builds and leverages strong working relationships to create, conceptualize, and secure high-quality media placements to help translate Niskanen’s vision into tangible impact.
She previously worked at PR and advertising agency CRAFT Media/Digital, where she built and managed communications campaigns for a diverse portfolio of corporate, association, and nonprofit clients. She has also worked at the Cato Institute as part of the media team.
Prior to switching gears towards media relations, Louisa was a reporter for a flagship personal care and pharmaceutical trade publication. She also interned at the Associated Press in Athens, Greece, and for the Athens News (Greece’s only English-language newspaper at the time).
Louisa received her BA in English Literature from the University of Virginia, and an M.S. in Communications from Drexel University.
