Kasey White

Former Director of Climate Policy

Kasey White is the director of climate policy at the Niskanen Center. Kasey has extensive experience working with policymakers to advance climate change science and solutions. Most recently, Kasey served as Director for Geoscience Policy at The Geological Society of America and previously worked in policy at the American Association for the Advancement of Science, American Geosciences Institute, and Joint Oceanographic Institutions. She served as a co-editor of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report Climate Change 2001: Impacts, Adaptation, and Vulnerability, which was awarded a share of the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize. She holds a BS in Environment Science and Policy from Duke University, an MS in Environmental Sciences from The Johns Hopkins University, and an Executive Certificate in Transformational Leadership from Georgetown University.
