Kristin Eberhard is the director of climate policy at the Niskanen Center. She focuses on policies that encourage innovation and abundant clean energy.
She previously worked as the director of climate and democracy at Sightline Institute and as the western director of climate and energy at Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC). She is the author of the book Becoming a Democracy: How We Can Fix the Electoral College, Gerrymandering and Our Elections. She has taught climate change policy and energy law at Stanford Law School and UCLA School of Law. She earned her JD cum laude from the Duke University School of Law, an MEM from the Duke University Nicholas School of the Environment, and a BA with Honors from Stanford University.
