Adam Nicholson

Deputy Director, Social Policy

Adam Nicholson is the Deputy Director of Social Policy. He focuses on issues related to poverty and employment policy. Nicholson has previously worked as a Senior Defense Analyst for General Dynamics, a GIS analyst for GeoEye and Wilson & Company, a Visiting Assistant Professor at Denison University and Mannheim University (Germany), and most recently as an Applied Social Scientist for the National Security Agency. Nicholson served as a Geospatial Intelligence Specialist in the United States Marine Corps.

Nicholson received his B.A. in Sociology from the University of Kansas, his M.A. and his Ph.D. in Sociology (PhD minor in Social Science Research Methods) from Indiana University, and was a President’s Postdoctoral Scholar at The Ohio State University.
